UPSC CSE 2026 Registration Deadline Extended: Now apply for prelims exams till February 27

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has revised the last date for online application submission on February 24, 2026. The UPSC CSE 2026 Registration has now been extended by 03 Days, i.e. the application window will now close on February 27, 2026, by 06:00 PM. All the candidates who have not registered for the forthcoming Prelims exam still have an opportunity to apply by visiting the official website of the commission – upsconline.nic.in.  

The UPSC CSE 2026 Preliminary Exam is scheduled to be held on May 24, 2026. The exam is a national-level qualifying exam conducted by UPSC for the recruitment of officer vacancies available in Group A and B services, such as IAS, IPS, IRS etc. The exam will be conducted in three stages – Prelims, Mains and Interview round for personality evaluation. 2. On the homepage, tap on the active UPSC Registration link on the right-hand side.
3. On the UPSC login page, click on the new user registration tab to create an account for the first time.
4. Enter all your required details like name, contact number, and email ID to create an account.
5. Generate a strong password and submit. You will be provided with a unique Registration ID.
6. Now, log in to the UPSC gov in portal using your credentials. Already registered candidates can use their respective login credentials.
7. Proceed further to enter all your important details required in the UPSC CSE 2026 Registration form.
8. Pay the UPSC CSE 2026 Registration fees online through the prescribed transaction method as per your category.
9. Then upload all the required documents in the suggested format.
10.  Go through all the fields again carefully before ticking the check box.
11.  Tick the checkbox to submit the UPSC CSE Prelims 2026 registration form.
12.  A confirmation message will be sent to you on your registered email ID and contact number.
