The UPSC CSE 2026 Prelims Application Form is going to close today, February 24, 2026. The students who have still not filled out and submitted their application form must do so as soon as possible. The notification was released on the official website: upsc.gov.in on February 4, 2026, stating the duration of the application form.
The UPSC CSE 2026 Prelims Application form must be reviewed once and will be completed only after making the payment. All the candidates will have to pay Rs 100, except PwBD candidates, as they are exempt from paying. The payment can be made only in online mode, that is, through UPI, debit card, or credit card. The UPSC CSE 2026 Exam will be conducted on May 24, 2026. The students who fail to fill out the application form by today will not be able to sit for the exams, so today is the last opportunity to complete their application form.
UPSC CSE 2026 Prelims Application Window: Steps to Apply
The students will be able to access the UPSC CSE 2026 Prelims Application Window till today only. The students who have not yet filled out the application form are advised to fill it out by following the steps below:
Step 1: The student must visit the official website: upsconline.nic.in.
Step 2: The candidate must complete the One-Time Registration if not yet done, and then log in to the account.
Step 3: Now, look for the UPSC 2026 CSE application link and click on it.
Step 4: The candidates must fill in the required information and the documents as per the mentioned criteria.
Step 5: After completing the form, pay the fees if required and click on the submit button.
The students are advised to review the application form and must save the confirmation page as well.
UPSC 2026 CSE Prelims: Eligibility
In order to be eligible to appear for the UPSC 2026 Exams, the candidate must pass these criteria:
- For the general category, the candidate’s age must lie between or be 21 and 32 years of age.
- The candidate must be a citizen of India or have an eligibility certificate from the Government of India.
- A candidate belonging to the general category can only give 6 attempts.
- The candidate must have a Graduation degree or be in their final year.
- The medical students who still have to complete their internship are eligible.
The candidate must pass all the above-mentioned criteria to appear for the UPSC 2026 Exam.
