The day for the UPSC Civil Services Examination 2025 has finally come. After months of intense preparation, the civil service aspirants will now have the opportunity to put their hard work to test by taking the exam tomorrow, 25th May Sunday, 2025.
The Union Public Service Commission conducts the exam in 3 phases
- The Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination
- The Civil Services (Main) Examination
- The Personality Test/Interview (considered the final round)
Tomorrow the candidates are going to sit for the first step, that is the prelims – the opening impediment to the world’s one of the toughest competitive examinations. Candidates who qualify will move forward to the Mains, bringing them one step closer to their dream of joining the civil services.

The online registrations for UPSC 2025 were over by 11th February 2025, and the Admit Cards were released on May 12, 2025. The Commission strictly advises candidates to carry their admit cards to the examination hall, as it is a mandatory document for entry.

UPSC Civil Services Exam 2025 – Check Dress Code
There is no such official notification regarding dress code of UPSC 2025, but candidates must come in modest attire can be formals as well as casuals, with comfortable footwear. They must avoid wearing clothes with flashy prints or colours on exam day.
UPSC Civil Services Exam 2025 – Exam Day Guidelines
The Commission is very strict with its guidelines and has issued a bunch of regulations for UPSC 2025 candidates. Check out the following exam day guidelines for tomorrow provided below –
- The use of any mobile phone (even in switched off mode), pager, or any electronic equipment or programmable device, or storage media like pen drive, smart watches, cameras, Bluetooth devices, or any other communication device is strictly prohibited
- Candidates are advised not to bring any kind of valuable/costly items to the venue of the examination. The commission will not be responsible for any loss in this regard
- The candidates should reach the venue of the Examination well in time, at least 30 minutes prior to the commencement of each session of the Examination. Late arrivals will not be permitted entry under any circumstances.
