The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has officially started the application process for UPPSC Combined State/Upper Subordinate Service examination on June 25, 2026. Candidates who wish to appear for the exam are advised to fill out the application form at the official online portal, uppsc.up.nic.in. The correction and modification window for the applications will remain open till August 3, 2026.
The commission has made One-Time Registration (OTR) compulsory for all applicants. Candidates with a valid OTR number will be able to access the online application form from the UPPSC website. UPPSC PCS Registration 2026: Eligibility Criteria
The UPPSC PCS Registration 2026 officially began on June 25, 2026. Candidates must fulfil the eligibility requirements before applying for the exam:
- To be eligible for UPPSC, candidates must be citizens of India, Nepal, or Bhutan, or have come to India as a refugee from Tibet before January 1, 1962.
- The candidate must be between the ages of 21 and 40 to apply for the exam.
- Candidates must be physically qualified for the post for which they are seeking.
- A Bachelor’s degree from an approved university or other institution is required.
- Candidates must also be conversant in the Hindi language.
In case a candidate applied for the exam but is found as not eligible, their application will be disqualified by the commission.
UPPSC PCS 2026 Registration: How to Apply
The UPPSC PCS Registration 2026 commenced officially on June 25 and will remain open till July 27, 2026. Candidates can follow the given steps to apply for the exam:
Step 1: Candidates must first complete the OTR process and obtain their registration number.
Step 2: After that, candidates can log in to the UPPSC application portal.
Step 3: Candidates are required to fill in the personal and educational details, upload the necessary documents and pay the prescribed examination fee.
Step 4: Once the application is submitted, candidates should download and save the confirmation page for future reference.
