The National Testing Agency (NTA) will soon release the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) 2026 Admit Card. According to the reports, the UGC NET admit card 2026 is likely to be released by June 15, 2026. However, no official confirmation has been announced by the examination authority regarding the admit card release date. Once the UGC NET admit card 2026 is released, candidates can download it from the official portal – ugcnet.nta.nic.in.To access the UGC NET 2026 admit card once issued by NTA, applicants will be required to enter their credentials, such as registration ID and security pin, in the login window. Candidates who have filled out their UGC NET 2026 application form will be eligible to download their UGC NET 2026 Admit Card.
Candidates are advised to keep track of all the official documents required for the examination to ensure the process remains smooth. Before the admit card, NTA released the UGC NET 2026 City Intimation slip on June 10, 2026 on the official website. Candidates appearing for the UGC NET Exam 2026 are required to carry the admit card along with them on the exam day. Without the Admit Card, candidates will not be allowed to enter the exam hall. The UGC NET 2026 Admit Card consists of information about the candidate, including their name, roll number, date of birth, signature, examination venue, photograph, and exam day instructions.

Those who have registered for the UGC NET 2026 exam must carry the following essential documents along with the UGC NET 2026 Admit Card on the examination day to ensure a smooth and hassle-free process :
- Printed copy of the UGC NET 2026 Admit card downloaded from the official NTA website.
- One passport-size photograph (Must be the same as uploaded on the online application form).
- Any one authorised, valid and non- expired ID proof (PAN card/ Driving License/Passport/ Aadhaar)
- PwD/PwBD certificate issued by a valid Authority ( if claiming the relaxation under the PwD/PwBD category)
Candidates must know that the name on the ID proof must match the name as shown on the UGC NET 2026 Admit Card. If the name has been changed due to events such as marriage, the candidate should carry the relevant document as proof at the time of the exam.
