The Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay) has officially released the UCEED 2026 notification, marking the commencement of the application process for the Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design (UCEED). Prospective candidates can apply online till October 31, 2025, through the dedicated UCEED portal – uceed.iitb.ac.in. The UCEED application form will be around INR 3,800 for the general category and INR 1,900 for Reserved category and female of all categories
UCEED exam is a National-Level gateway to prestigious B.Des programs across India, including IITs at Bombay, Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Roorkee, Indore as well as IIITDM Jabalpur. This year’s examination is likely to be held in January, 2026, Testing candidates through both computer-based (Part A) and pen and paper drawing sections (Part B).

UCEED Eligibility Criteria 2026
Candidates needs to meet the following conditions for admission to B.Des programs offered by the UCEED 2026 participating institutes:

Steps To Fill Out UCEED Application Form 2026
Candidates can check the given steps below to fill out their UCEED application form:
Step 1: Online Registration- Click on the registration link. You will be redirected to the registration form. Fill in details like a valid email ID and mobile number. An applicant account will be created.
Step 2: Fill in the Form- The application form will have three sections, like personal, academic and contact details. Fill in all the sections. Candidates will also be required to select an exam city from the drop-down menu. Select exam cities in the order of priority.
Step 3: Upload The Documents- The candidates have to upload documents like a photograph, signature, date of birth proof and qualifying exam certificates in the prescribed format.
Step 4: Pay the application fee- Before paying the application fee, the candidate needs to confirm that the UCEED application form is complete in all respects. The application fee for UCEED 2026 will be paid online.
