TNEA 2025 Update: The Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE) started the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission 2025 process on 07 May 2025. The Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission (TNEA) 2025 for undergraduate engineering Certificate Verification starts today, i.e., 10 June 2025. Students will be allotted a random number for the further admission process. This process ensures transparency and fairness in seat allotment. Candidates can submit the required documents through the official website of TNEA – tneaonline.org.
TNEA 2025 Certificate Verification – Required Documents
The Certificate Verification will be held from 10 June 2025 to 20 June 2025. During this period, candidates can upload all the documents required for the further admission process. Candidates are advised that all the documents must be updated, if required. The list of required documents for TNEA Certificate Verification is given below:
- Class 10 Marksheet
- Registration fees certificate
- HSC first-year marksheet (+1 marksheet)
- HSC second year marksheet (+2 marksheet)
- Transfer certificate (if applicable)
- Details of the Government school studied from Class 6th to 12th (for the 7.5% Government School Reservations)
- Community Certificate (mandatory for candidates other than the OC category)
- Nativity certificate (if applicable)
- Income certificate (if applicable)
- Sri Lankan Refugee Certificate (if applicable)
- First Graduate Certificate and Graduate Joint Declaration (if applicable)
- PwDs and differently abled students would need to submit medical certificates that are verified by 3 different doctors.
TNEA 2025 Certificate Verification – Guidelines
Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to fill out the TNEA application form/upload the documents for TNEA Certificate Verification:
- Register on the official website – tneaonline.org.
- Complete the registration form and pay the registration fee.
- Prepare a scanned copy of all the documents mentioned above. Document size must not exceed 1 MB.
- Now, login to the portal again and upload the documents in the upload section.
- After uploading all the documents, click on “Freeze Upload” to confirm.
- Finally, keep tracking your application progress on the official portal.
- If the status is ‘Incomplete’, that means some documents are still missing.
- If the status is ‘In Progress’, that means the documents are under verification.
- If the status is ‘Completed successfully’, that means your documents are verified and approved.
After the TNEA certificate verification, the Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE) will soon release the TNEA Rank List. Students whose names are on the list will be eligible for the TNEA counselling 2025. Students are advised to keep checking the official website for more updates.
