The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE) has released the TN Board Class 12th Result 2026 today, on May 8, 2026, at 09:30 AM on its official website. Along with the official website – tnresults.nic.in, candidates can access their marksheets at a few other websites as well. The board officials have declared the Tamil Nadu +2 Result 2026 on time. Candidates must enter the required login credentials, like their district, passing year and roll number, in the login window to download their results.

The Tamil Nadu +2  2026 Examination was conducted from March 2, 2026, to March 26, 2026, in offline mode or pen and paper format. However, the TN Board Class 12th Result 2026 is declared in online mode. Along with the announcement of the results, the Tamil Nadu Board officials will also release the overall pass percentage, district-wise pass percentage, and names of the toppers. Students must note that the Tamil Nadu +2 Result 2026 will be provisional in nature. They will have to collect the final marksheets from their schools.

To pass the Tamil Nadu HSE Plus Two Examinations 2026, the Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE) mandates a minimum overall score of 35 marks per subject. For subjects consisting solely of theory, students must secure the full 35 marks in that paper. However, for subjects involving a practical component, the requirements are split: students must achieve a minimum of 15 marks out of 70 in the theory section, ensuring their cumulative total, including practical and internal marks, reaches the 35 mark threshold.
