The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has issued the SSC GD Constable 2026 Notification on December 1, 2025. Along with the notification, the online SSC GD Constable Application Form 2026 has also been activated on the official website at ssc.gov.in. The last date to apply online is December 30, 2025, till 11.00 PM. The candidates will be allowed to pay the application fee till January 1 till 11.00 PM. This year, the commission notified a total of 25,487 vacancies across various forces, of which 2020 posts are reserved for female candidates.
Applicants can download the SSC GD 2026 Notification and fill out the application in two parts: registration and filling up of online form. They also need to pay the SSC GD Constable application fee of INR 100. The selection process for SSC GD 2026 Exam includes a Computer-Based Test (CBT) followed by physical tests. Candidates must prepare well to pass all stages and meet the cut-off marks.

- Go to the official portal of SSC- ssc.gov.in
- Click on Apply tab and then select SSC GD exam on the homepage
- Go through the instructions and complete SSC GD Constable registration process
- Enter all information like name, father’s name, gender, mobile number, email ID, etc
- SSC GD registration ID and password will be sent to candidate’s registered email ID and mobile number
- Upload scanned documents and pay SSC GD application fee
- Submit the form, save and get a printout of it

- The candidate must be a citizen of India.
Educational Qualification
- Candidates must have passed the 10th class or an equivalent exam from a recognized board.
