The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will be releasing the SSC GD Answer Key 2026 soon on their official website, ssc.gov.in. Candidates can visit the official website and click on the relevant link in order to download the provisional answer key. The SSC will also release the SSC GD Response Sheet 2026 along with the answer key. It will contain the answers marked by candidates during the online examination. Candidates have to match their responses with the answer key released by SSC.

Candidates can access the SSC GD Answer Key 2026 and their respective response sheet by logging in to the website using their registered credentials, such as registration number and password. SSC will also open the objection window for candidates who have appeared in the exam. Candidates will be allowed to raise objections against the answer key. Candidates can raise challenges for each question in the SSC GD Answer Key 2026 by paying a fee of Rs 100 per question. This fee is refundable in case the objection raised by the candidate is valid. The objection window will stay open for a limited period of time. The SSC GD Exam 2026 was conducted in four phases from April 27 to March 30, 2026.

SSC GD Answer Key 2026: Challenge Window Explained

The Commission will open the SSC GD Answer Key 2026 challenge window for candidates who wish to raise objections against the provisional answer key. In cases where candidates don’t feel satisfied with the answer to a particular question or to multiple questions, they can raise one or challenge the answer key.  Challenges can only be raised against the provisional answer key and not the finalised answer key. Candidates are also required to submit proof of their objections. Candidates will have to log in using their registration ID and password to access the facilities within the challenge window. For each challenge, candidates are required to pay Rs 100 per question, which will be refunded if the challenge raised is proven to be valid.

  •  2 marks for each correct answer
  • Deduct 0.5 marks for each incorrect answer
