The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is set to release the new exam dates for the Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) 2025 examination. The commission has confirmed that the Tier 1 exam will begin in the fourth week of October 2025. Earlier, the CHSL exam could not be conducted on the previously notified dates, leaving candidates waiting for fresh announcements from the Commission.

According to a recent notice, issued on September 26, 2025, the SSC has confirmed that the SSC CHSL 2025 examination will be held in the fourth week of October 2025. According to the notice, the updated schedule will be available soon on the official SSC website.

SSC CHSL Tier 1 Posts for Recruitment

The CHSL Tier 1 exam serves as the first stage of recruitment for posts such as Lower Division Clerk (LDC), Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA), and Data Entry Operator (DEO). After the delay in the previously scheduled dates, the Commission has now confirmed that the revised exam timeline will begin from the fourth week of October 2025.

The notice further advises candidates to regularly check SSC’s website (ssc.gov.in) for official updates, admit card releases, and new date notifications.

The SSC CHSL Tier 1 exam is conducted as an online objective test, comprising 100 questions across four sections. Candidates have a total of 60 minutes to complete the paper.
