To further improve the SSC CGL examination’s reliability, SSC has revamped its vendor management system by engaging four specialised agencies responsible for centre management, security and biometric verification, application handling, and question paper preparation. This multi-agency approach replaces the earlier dependence on a single vendor, aiming to prevent system crashes, hardware failures, and Aadhaar verification delays.
According to SSC, 93% of the candidates have been assigned centres in line with their first, second, or third preference as indicated in the application process.
One of the most significant changes as per the SSC CGL reforms introduced is that the SSC CGL exam will now be conducted in a single shift across the country instead of multiple shifts. This reform ensures that all candidates have the same exam experience and mitigates problems caused by different question papers of varying difficulty levels.
The Staff Selection Commission has announced major reforms for the upcoming Combined Graduate Level (CGL) examination 2025, aiming to address previous issues and enhance the exam experience for candidates.
