The SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination (SRMJEEE) 2026 registration has officially started in online mode. Candidates seeking admission into the SRM Institute of Science and Technology’s B. Tech programmes across its many campuses can apply online from the official website, srmist.edu.in, to access the registration portal. The SRMJEEE 2026 Phase 1 regiatration will continue till April 16, 2026. The Phase 1 exam dates are April 23 to 28, 2026.
SRMIST has shared that the SRMJEEE registration 2026 process will be completely online. Applicants will be required to fill out their personal and academic details, upload scanned copies of photographs, signatures and relevant certificates from Class 10 and 12/Board (or equivalent). An application fee (as per category) will need to be paid via net banking/credit/debit card. The exam is expected to be held in a remote-proctored online mode, ensuring flexibility for students across regions.

SRMJEEE 2026: Eligibility Criteria
Candidates can check the SRMJEEE Eligibility Criteria below:
- Nationality: Resident Indian or Non-Resident Indian (NRI), holder of a PIO or OCI card issued by the Government of India, is eligible to apply for SRMJEEE.
- Age: Should have attained the age of 16 years and 6 months on the 31st of July of the calendar year in which the 12th Board examination is to be held.
- Qualifying Examination For all B.Tech. Courses:
- Minimum 60% aggregate in Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry /Biotechnology/ Biology/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Engineering Graphics.
- Passed in Higher secondary examination (10+2 pattern ) or appearing in Higher Secondary examination in the current academic year with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with any one of the subjects, Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Engineering Graphics as major subjects in regular stream from any state board within India, CBSE, ISCE, Matriculation, or NIOS.
SRMJEEE Application 2026: Steps to Apply

Step 1: To begin with, aspirants need to register for the SRMJEEE exam if they are eligible.
Step 2: Applicants have to do the slot booking to appear in the entrance exam. Admit cards can be downloaded after booking the slot.
Step 3: SRMJEEE admit cards can be downloaded from the official website. To download the same, aspirants will need their application number and date of birth.
Step 4: Aspirants are advised to follow all the instructions for the remote proctored test.
Step 5: SRMJEEE result will be declared on the official website. The result will have a candidate’s AIR based on which seats will be allotted to the candidates in the counselling process.
Step 6: Aspirants who clear the exam need to appear for SRMJEEE counselling. The counselling is held online.
SRMJEEE 2026 Exam Pattern

- The questions are based on the syllabus in Class 11th & Class 12th.
- All the questions are of Multiple-Choice type and have four options as possible answers.
- Candidates can choose the most appropriate answer for each question.
- 1 mark is awarded for each correct answer and no negative marking for the wrong answer.
- The total duration of the exam is 2 hours 30 mins.
