The State Bank of India (SBI) is expected to release the SBI Clerk Prelims result in the coming weeks. Aspirants who appeared for the SBI Clerk (Junior Associate) Preliminary examination in September are gearing up for the results, expected to be announced shortly. The State Bank of India has not yet confirmed an exact date, but according to past patterns and expert assessments, the SBI Clerk Prelims results for the exam held on September 20, 21 and 27, 2025, are likely to be declared in October-November 2025. 

Once released, the SBI result will be accessible via SBI’s official website under careers portal. Candidates will have to use their registration number or roll number, along with their date of birth/password to log in and check their status. The scorecards, which give details like total marks obtained and sometimes section-wise performance, are usually released together with or shortly after the result pdf.

How to Calculate SBI Clerk Scores

The scores of SBI Clerk are calculated based on the marking scheme. The process to calculate the SBI Clerk scores is given below:

  • For correct answers in the exam, candidates score one mark.
  • For wrong answers, ¼ th of the mark assigned to the question is deducted.
  • The total marks is calculated based on the number of correct and incorrect answers. 

SBI Clerk Tie-Breaking Policy 

In situations where two or more candidates secure equal scores, the tie is resolved in the following manner:

  • Candidates who belong to the reserved category such as SC/ST/OBC/PH are considered.
  • If the tie persists, candidates who have fewer incorrect answers in all the subjects are considered.
  • If the tie continues, candidates older in age are considered.
