The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) will close the application window for the RRB Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) Undergraduate (UG) 2025 recruitment exam today, November 27, 2025. The RRBs have announced 3058 vacancies for the undergraduate level posts. The board started the RRB NTPC UG registration on October 28, 2025. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the RRB NTPC UG exam 2025 by registering on the official website – rrbapply.gov.in, before the deadline. The recruitment is being done for posts and vacancies notified under CEN 07/2025.

The RRB has released the official notification for the year 2025-26 on October 4, 2025. The candidates can check and download the notification of the RRB NTPC UG exam 2025 from the official regional websites of their respective RRBs. The applicants can pay the RRB NTPC UG application fee till November 29, 2025. The Railway Recruitment Board conducts the RRB NTPC UG exam to fill various undergraduate vacancies in the Indian Railways.

RRB NTPC UG 2025: Exam Pattern

Aspirants must be aware of the RRB NTPC UG Exam Pattern in order to be fully prepared for the examination. The detailed exam pattern and stages are explained below.

  • The four stages of the selection process are CBT 1, CBT 2, CBAT/ Typing Test, and Document Verification (according to RRB notification of 2019).
  • CBT 1 is same for all railway posts, though CBT 2 differs in terms of difficulty level. However, all exams in Stage 2 contain same no. of questions, time limit and total marks.
  • There are typing tests for further selection.
  • For Stage 1 and Stage 2, 1 mark will be awarded for each correct answer and a negative marking of 0.33 marks for each incorrect answer.
  • Candidates must be aware that the board normalises the scores so that the results are fair, in case the exams are held under different shifts.
