The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has officially released the exam date for the RRB NTPC CBT 2 for the graduate (non technical) level. Candidates who cleared CBT 1 will now appear for the stage-2 test on October 13, 2025 across the country. Admit card and city intimation slips are expected to be released a few days before the test, allowing candidates to finalize logistics.

This announcement comes soon after the results of the CBT-1 were declared on September 19, 2025, confirming which applicants would proceed to CBT 2. With about 8,113  graduate-level vacancies to be filled through this recruitment cycle, the competition is intense and CBT-2 is a critical step in the selection process. For RRB NTPC CBT 2 exam, candidates are strongly advised to review the exam pattern and eligibility rules. For persons with disabilities (PwBD) candidates, the exam duration is extended to 120 minutes in accordance with rules.

RRB NTPC CBT II Graduate Level: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates can check the eligibility criteria for the RRB NTPC Graduate level below:

Nationality: Candidates must be a citizen of India or meet the criteria for subjects of Nepal, Bhutan, or Tibetan refugees who settled in India before January 1, 1962.

Age Limit: The age range is generally 18 to 36 years. Before the age range was 18 to 33 years.

Age Relaxation: Age relaxation is provided for candidates belonging to specific categories, such as SC/ST (5 years), OBC (3 years), and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) (10-15 years)

Educational Qualification: Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or its equivalent.

RRB NTPC CBT II Graduate Level: Exam Pattern

The exam pattern for the graduate level CBT 2 is given below:

  • A negative marking of 1/3 is there.
  • The exam duration for PWD candidates is 120 Minutes. 
  • The level of questions will be different for the different levels of posts. 
  • Normalization of marks will be done.
