The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has announced a revised exam schedule for the RRB Group D exam 2025 on November 18. Candidates aiming to secure a position in Indian Railways can check the revised exam dates from the respective RRB regional website. As per the official notice, the RRB Group D exam 2025 will now be conducted from November 27, 2025, to January 16, 2026. RRB has released the city intimation slip for RRB Group D exam, which provides details about the exam city, date and shift.
The RRB Group D 2025 exam is a computer-based test, which will have a total of 100 questions from 4 different subjects – Science, Mathematics, Reasoning and Current Affairs that need to be completed in 90 minutes. Earlier, the RRB Group D exam was scheduled from November 17 to December 31, 2025. The admit card for RRB Group D will be released a few days before the exam on the zone-wise RRB portals.

RRB Group D Exam Day Guidelines 2025
Candidates need to follow certain rules and regulations mentioned below to ensure the smooth conduct of RRB Group D exam:
- It is mandatory for the candidates to carry a physical copy of their RRB Group D Admit Card 2025; without the admit card, the candidates will not be permitted inside the exam centre.
- Candidates must also carry a valid ID proof such as the Aadhar card, PAN card, Passport, Driving License, etc, along with the admit card.
- Candidates must arrive at the exam centre well before the reporting time mentioned in the admit card.
- Electronic gadgets such as mobile phones, calculators and other prohibited items are strictly not allowed inside the examination centre.
