Rajasthan Board to Release RBSE Class 10th Results by March 20 as Board Shifts to Two-Exam System for 2027

Rajasthan Board is accelerating its 2026 secondary result timeline with plans to release RBSE Class 10th results by March 20, 2026. Beyond the early results, the Board has announced a massive structural reform: starting in 2027, students will have two opportunities to appear for board exams within a single academic year.

The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) is preparing to release the Class 10 secondary exam results by March 20, 2026, the Board Secretary Gajendra Singh Rathore said in a press conference. In 2027, board exams will be held twice a year in February and May, according to the update. A proposal for this has been sent to the state government for approval. Thousands of teachers across the state are fully engaged in the evaluation work for the result declaration.

On the successful conclusion of the Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education’s 2026 board exams, Shri Gajendra Singh Rathore provided detailed information on exam arrangements, the number of examinees, and the conduct during a press conference held on Wednesday.

RBSE Class 10th Results 2026 for 10,68,078 Students

Board Secretary Shri Rathore stated that the RBSE Class 10th secondary education board exams were conducted from February 12 to March 11, 2026. He noted that a large number of students participated in the Rajasthan board’s exams this year. 10,68,078 students registered for secondary exams, 9,09,087 for higher secondary, 7,811 for Praveshika exams, and 4,122 for Senior Upadhyay exams. The RBSE Class 10 board exams were conducted at 6,195 exam centres across the state, where around 175 question papers were administered. Extensive administrative and technical arrangements ensured the successful and smooth conduct of the board examination.

Shri Rathore also mentioned that joint flying teams from the board and education department maintained constant vigilance to ensure transparency and discipline during the exams. Inspection teams led by about 150 joint directors and district education officers remained active. Special flying teams were also formed at the board level. Prompt action was taken at various exam centres based on complaints received through these teams.

RBSE 2026 Class 10th Result Date and Timeline, Two-Exam Policy from Next Year

RBSE is planning to release the Rajasthan board’s Class 10 results by March 20, 2026. The Board Secretary informed that central evaluation centres have been established to declare results quickly. Currently, about 30,915 teachers are engaged in evaluating answer sheets. The board aims to complete all processes and declare results by March 20.

Shri Rathore also shared that from the next academic session, board exams will be held twice a year, first in February and second in May, to provide better opportunities for students.

The Board Secretary credited the successful conduct of the RBSE 2026 examinations to the vital support from district-level committees, district administration, education department officials, and staff. Coordinated efforts by all enabled the peaceful and orderly completion of Rajasthan board exams, he added.
