OJEE 2025 Round 1 Seat Allotment Announced

The Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) Committee will officially announce the results for Round 1 seat allotment today, July 12, 2025, at 5:00 PM for students who applied for courses like BTech, BArch, BPlan, BCAT, and Integrated M.Sc. The seat allotment is based on the choices filled in by candidates between June 20 and July 4.

The Odisha Joint Entrance Examination Board will release the OJEE Cutoff 2025 in the form of opening and closing ranks, based on which seats will be allotted to participating candidates. Based on past trends, OJEE Round 1 Cutoff for B.Tech Computer Science will remain between 1-1000 rank for colleges like IIT Bhubaneswar, IGIT Sarang and NIT Rourkela. However, the cutoff may vary this year because of multiple factors including the total number of seats available, difficulty level of the exam, and others. As per the previous OJEE Marks vs Ranks, a mark of 400+ is expected in the rank of top 1000, which can get students in the top colleges. The mark range of 250-300 marks is expected to put the candidate in the 5000-8000 ranks, which can get the mid-level colleges.

If candidates are satisfied with the round 1 allotted seats can further proceed to the choice locking process to confirm their seat by logging in to the OJEE counselling website by entering your credentials and paying the fees for the confirmation. Many students also got an idea about their possible seats through the mock allotment shown earlier on July 1. But now, the real allotment is here, and it’s time to lock seats in OJEE 2025 round 1.

OJEE 2025: Online Reporting & Freeze/Float Open Till July 15

All candidates who have been satisfied with the allotted seat in OJEE 2025 round 1 must now complete the online reporting process from July 12 to July 15, 2025 (till 11:59 PM). This includes fee payment, uploading important documents, and choosing between Freeze or Float options.

 Exam Alert Plus

The Freeze option confirms the allotted seat in OJEE 2025 round 1, whereas the Float option allows the candidate to accept the seat while keeping the option open for higher preference in the next rounds of OJEE.

Additionally, students must respond to any queries raised during the verification process by July 18. Candidates who have already paid the seat confirmation fee but wish to exit the process can also withdraw the seat by July 18. This option gives flexibility to students to reassess their choices without penalty, provided they follow the deadlines.

 OJEE 2025: What’s Next After Round 1?

Once the candidates are done with online reporting and withdrawal, the data will undergo reconciliation, verification, and validation between July 15 and July 18. Then OJEE 2025 round 2 seat allotment will be published on July 22, 2025, and will be based on upgraded choices and changes made by eligible students.

Candidates who were not allotted a seat in Round 1 but are eligible for the next round should be prepared to modify their preferences, if needed. Candidates must check the official website of OJEE regularly to be updated.
