The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued an informative advisory on March 5, 2026 to guide all the students who are preparing for the Common University Entrance Test for Postgraduate (CUET – PG) 2026. As per the notice, the exam is being conducted in this month, from March 6, 2025 to March 27, 2026. The notice outlines several important exam day guidelines and rules that all candidates are required to adhere by. NTA has already released the CUET PG 2026 admit card for all the candidates who are appearing for their exam from March 6 to 13, 2026. Students who have not downloaded their admit card yet can visit the website – exams.nta.nic.in to get it downloaded beforehand to avoid any last-minute hassles. The CUET PG 2026 exam is a national-level entrance exam conducted to provide aspiring students admission into the PG courses offered by top central universities and colleges of India.
CUET PG 2026: Check crucial points of the advisory
Students who are appearing for the CUET PG 2026 on the upcoming exam dates should positively refer to the crucial information mentioned in the recently-issued advisory of NTA. Read the points below to know all the key details.
- All the candidates are advised to carefully go through all the details mentioned on their CUET PG 2026 Admit card such as their exam date, shift, timings, test centre venue, reporting time, and gate closing time.
- Students must also visit the CUET PG 2026 exam centre location a day prior to the exam day to avoid any inconvenience at the last moment. (especially for PwD/PwBD candidates).
- All the students who did not register with Aadhaar as advised before must reach the exam centre at least an hour before the gate closing time for the verification.
- Late entry is not allowed after the gate closing time under any circumstances.
- Students must carry all the required documents such as their Admit Card (preferably colour print), two passport-size photographs, one original government photo ID (Aadhaar, PAN, Passport, Voter ID, Driving License, etc.).
- Candidates who have registered under the PwD/PwBD quota should mandatorily bring their disability certificate/UDID card. They may also get a scribe facility and extra time (20 minutes per hour) if opted.
- All the candidates should keep in mind that any electronic devices such mobile phones, earphones, smartwatches etc or any kind of personal belongings are not allowed inside the exam centre.
- Candidates should positively fill the attendance sheet properly with signature, photograph, and left thumb impression.
- Candidates suffering from Diabetes can carry fruits/sugar tablets and a transparent water bottle inside the exam hall.
- Rough sheets will be provided to students and they must be submitted to the invigilator before leaving the hall.
- Any unfair means to attempt the CUET PG 2026 exam will lead to strict action and possible ban from future NTA exams.
- Candidates who are appearing for multiple subjects should carry separate admit cards for each exam day.
