The examination window for the Narsee Monjee Aptitude Test (NMAT), conducted by the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC), is now officially live, as of November 5, 2025, on the official website at nmat.org. The test window is open for candidates from November 5, 2025, to December 19, 2025, giving candidates ample time to choose a convenient date. Candidates have an option to appear for the NMAT exam 2025 thrice during the test window.
The NMAT 2025 result is declared within 48 hours of each NMAT 2025 exam attempt, which allows candidates to move quickly to the next admission procedure. Once the NMAT 2025 results are posted, and if any candidate is not satisfied with their marks, they can apply for a retake. Candidates can take the exam a maximum of three times in a testing cycle. This includes the first attempt plus up to two retakes. The NMAT 2025 retake registration window will be open from November 6, 2025, to December 17, 2025.
NMAT 2025 Exam Procedure

- After the candidates are checked in for the exam appointment, they will be first allocated the seat for the exam.
- Candidates will be presented with a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) that they have to accept to proceed in the exam.
- Candidates must click on ‘Yes I Accept’ on the NDA form within 2 minutes to proceed further in the exam, If by chance they click on ‘No, I do not accept’ by mistake or intentionally they will be given an option to change, but if they still click on No the exam will end then and there.
- The exam will also end if candidates do not choose ‘Yes I Accept’ on time.
- After this NMAT by GMAC allows candidates to choose their preferred sections order.
- Each of the three sections having their own time slot, if any candidate completes the section before time the remaining time will not be added to the next section.

NMAT 2025: Retake Registration

Step 2: Candidates need to enter credential created at the time of NMAT 2025 registration in the dashboard
Step 3: Now, select the ‘Retake Section’
Step 4: After selecting the option, choose a new date and time
Step 5: Complete the process by paying the NMAT 2025 retake registration fee
NMAT 2025 results will be declared within 48 hours after attempting the NMAT exam 2025. Candidates can apply for NMAT retake, if they are not satisfied with their scores.
Candidates must note that retake payment and scheduling become available after their previous attempt. After paying the retake fee, click the ‘Retake Exam’ button, then select the location, date, and time. If your scorecard shows a valid score, you may book your next attempt immediately — but the exam date will be at least 15 days later. If your scorecard shows ‘No Show’, ‘NDA Refused’, or ‘Exam Incomplete’, you may schedule a new exam slot 24 hours later.
