The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has extended the NEET UG Stray Vacancy Round Choice Filling 2025 deadline to November 11, 2025, up to 11:55 PM. Candidates can now fill and lock their choices within the extended window on the official website – mccnic.in. Candidates can lock their choices between 4:00 PM to 11:55 PM today. MCC is yet to announce the official schedule for the seat allotment result and reporting timeline.
One MBBS seat has been added to the All India Quota under the OBC-PwD category at Government Kilpauk Medical College, Chennai. With the addition of new seats, the total number of seats available in the MBBS, BDS and BSc Nursing stands at 1,232. Candidates are advised to complete the choice filling and choice locking process of NEET UG Counselling for Stray Vacancy Round 2025 within the revised timeframe so that their preferences will be considered for the seat allotment. Earlier, the last date for the choice filling and locking was November 9, 2025.
Stray Vacancy Round 2025: Revised Dates
MCC has extended the choice filling and locking process for the Stray Vacancy Round till today, November 11, 2025. Candidates can fill their choices between 4:00 PM to 11:55 PM. The seat allotment result of NEET UG Stray Vacancy Round 2025 was originally scheduled for November 12, 2025; however, the new dates for the same will be announced on the official website. The Medical Counselling Committee has not released the revised dates for the NEET UG 2025 Stray vacancy round seat allotment result, as well as for reporting. The detailed revised schedule will soon be released on the official website. Candidates are advised to regularly visit the official website, mcc.nic.in, for further updates.
NEET UG Stray Vacancy Round 2025: Essential Documents
Once all the candidates are allotted their respective Institutes, they have to report their with the documents listed below:
- NEET UG scorecard 2025
- NEET UG admit card 2025
- Class 10 marksheet and certificate
- Class 12 marksheet and certificate
- Disability certificate (if applicable)
- Caste certificate (if applicable)
- Provisional allotment letter
It is advisable to keep all the required documents ready. Without these, candidates will not be able to complete the reporting process for the NEET UG Stray Vacancy Round 2025.
The Stray vacancy round is the last stage of the NEET UG counselling process 2025 after the completion of all three rounds. Candidates who have not been allotted seats so far or want to upgrade their seats participate in this round.
