The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) under the Directorate General of Health Services has announced the addition of 138 new MBBS seats to the Round 3 seat matrix for the NEET UG Medical Counselling 2025. Candidates can now exercise their choice filling options for these newly added seats, with the deadline for Round 3 counselling extended until further notifications.
NEET UG 2025 Counselling Round 3 began on September 29, 2025. Registration and payment for this round were initially open until October 5, 2025, with choice filling and locking also scheduled to close on the same day. As per the latest notification, dated October 4, 2025, the choice filling for the third round of NEET UG Counselling 2025 has been extended till further notice.
NEET UG Counselling Round 3: New Seats Added
The seats have been added from prominent ESIC Medical Colleges across various states, including Delhi, Gujarat, Haryana, Maharashtra, Punjab, and Uttar Pradesh. The seats cover multiple reservation categories such as Open, BC, SC, ST, Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), Physically Handicapped (PH), and special quotas like Children/Widows of Armed Forces Personnel in Delhi.
Notable additions include 40 seats at ESIC Medical College and Hospital Basai Darapur, Delhi, distributed across various categories, 24 seats at ESIC Medical College Naroda, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, and 14 seats at ESIC Medical College Faridabad, Haryana, among others.
The specific allotment of additional seats is tabulated state-wise, quota-wise, and category-wise, allowing candidates better opportunities to secure a seat in reputed government medical colleges for the 2025 academic year.
