The official on the MCC website stated that “the resignation facility for Round-1 of UG counselling 2025 without forfeiture of security deposit has been extended upto 5:00 PM of September 3, 2025.”
The PwD portal for Round 2 of NEET UG counselling 2025 is now active and will remain open until 12 noon on September 9, 2025. The board has also introduced 13 new disability centres for PwBD candidates. Students of this category can obtain their disability certificates by September 9, 2025, at which point they can undergo examination and receive their certificates to participate in the counselling process. There is a possibility that NEET counselling Round 2 will begin between September 3, 2025, and September 9, 2025.

Regarding NEET 2025 Counselling Round 1 seat resignation, MCC has stated, “Candidates will have to report physically at the allotted college to resign their seat. Candidates are advised to ensure that their Resignation Letter is generated online (through a portal provided by MCC) by the allotted college, failing which the resignation will be treated as ‘Null & Void’.”
