The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially extended the last date for NEET UG 2026 Registration. As per the official notice released by NTA, medical aspirants can now register for the upcoming NEET UG exam till March 11, 2026, by 09:00 PM. According to the notification, the online transaction to pay the registration fee can be done before 11:50 PM on March 11, 2026. Candidates who have not submitted their application forms yet can do so by visiting the official website – neet.nta.nic.in.
As per the announced exam schedule, the forthcoming NEET UG 2026 exam will be held on May 3, 2026. The NEET UG exam 2026 will be conducted by the NTA in various exam centres across India and abroad. The exam will be carried out offline in a single shift from 02:00 PM to 05:00 PM. Earlier, the last date for the NEET UG 2026 Registration was scheduled on March 8, 2026, which has now been extended by three days, providing a last chance to all aspiring medical students.

For New Registration
Those candidates who are applying for the NEET exam 2026 for the first time will be required to create their ID first. Follow the steps given below to create an application number.
- Go to the NEET UG 2026 official website – neet.nta.nic.in.
- Click on the active link for ‘New Candidate Registrations’.
- Read all the instructions and information mentioned on the page.
- Submit all the asked details and create a password.
After the registration process, a unique application number will be sent to you at your registered contact details. Use this application and password for future logins.

Candidates who have already registered can directly follow the steps mentioned below.
- Sign in to the official website using your login credentials, i.e. application number and password.
- All the details that the candidates filled during NEET UG 2026 Registration will already be filled in the application form. Note that these prefilled fields cannot be edited.
- Fill in all your personal, academic, and additional information asked in your application form.
- Review all the details before submitting them.
- Proceed to the next section, where you will be required to submit all the documents.
- Submit all the required documents in the suggested format.
- Pay the NEET 2026 registration fees in the prescribed transaction method.
- Click on ‘submit’ to submit your form for NEET UG 2026 Registration.
