NEET UG Answer Key 2025 – The National Testing Agency is set to release the NEET UG 2025 answer key in online mode in the upcoming days. Candidates can download the provisional NEET answer key from the official website – neet.nta.nic.in, once available.
NTA will also display the recorded responses and scanned images of OMR answer sheets for candidates. Students can log in using their application number, password, and security pin in the designated fields of the login window to download the NEET UG 2025 answer key as well as the response sheet.
Students who appeared for the NEET exam can calculate their potential scores with the help of the provisional answer key. NEET UG 2025 was successfully conducted on May 4 for over 22.7 lakh candidates across 5,453 centres nationwide.

NEET UG 2025 Answer Key – Tie Breaking Policy
In case two or more candidates obtain equal marks or percentile scores in NEET UG 2025, the inter-se-merit will be decided based on the following criteria:
- Candidate obtaining higher marks/percentile score in Biology (Botany & Zoology) will be given preference, followed by the candidate obtaining higher marks/percentile score in Chemistry. If the tie persists, the candidate obtaining higher marks/percentile score in Physics will be given preference.
- In case the tie still exists, the candidate with the least proportion of the number of attempted incorrect answers and correct answers in all the subjects will be given preference.
- If the tie is still not resolved, the order of preference will be as follows: candidate with the least proportion of the number of attempted incorrect answers and correct answers in Biology, followed by the candidate with the least proportion of the number of attempted incorrect answers and correct answers in Chemistry, followed by the candidate with the least proportion of the number of attempted incorrect answers and correct answers in Physics.
- In case all the above criteria are exhausted and the tie persists, it will be resolved through a random process with the guidance of an independent expert committee.
NEET Answer Key 2025 Challenge
Candidates can challenge the provisional answer key through the ‘NEET Answer Key Challenge’ link, which will be made available at the official website – neet.nta.nic.in. The challenges posed by the candidates will be verified by NTA with the help of a panel of subject experts. If any challenge is found to be correct, the NEET UG answer key will be revised. Based on the revised final answer key, NTA will publish the NEET UG Result 2025.
