The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has officially commenced the registration for NEET PG Counselling Round 2 today, December 5, 2025. Candidates can register for the NEET PG Round 2 counselling on the official website – mcc.nic.in. The registration for the second round of counselling will continue until December 9, 2025. This round is an opportunity for candidates who either missed out on Round 1 or are seeking an upgrade. The processing of Round 2 seat allotment will be conducted from December 10 to 11, 2025, and the seat allotment result will be declared on December 12, 2025.
Once the seat allotment result of NEET PG counselling 2025 Round 2 is declared, the next process of the counselling is reporting/joining of institutes, candidates who are satisfied with their allotted institutes, they have to report between December 13 to 21, 2025 to their desired institutes, this will be followed by the verification of candidate’s data by the institute, which will take place from December 22 to 23, 2025.
NEET PG Counselling Round 2: Steps to Register
Candidates can follow these steps to complete the registration process for NEET PG 2025 Round 2 counselling:
- Step 1: Visit the official MCC website at mcc.nic.in and click on the ‘PG Medical Counselling 2025’ link.
- Step 2: For fresh candidates, complete new registration by providing valid details including your NEET PG roll number and password.
- Step 3: Candidates already registered in Round 1 need not register again but must complete choice filling.
- Step 4: Pay the counselling registration fee online via debit/credit card or net banking.
- Step 5: Fill in your preferred courses and colleges carefully and lock these choices before the deadline.
- Step 6: Upload scanned copies of essential documents such as NEET PG scorecard, MBBS degree, internship completion certificate, photo ID, and category certificates.
Submit your application and retain the registration slip for future reference.
NEET PG 2025 Round 2 Counselling Eligibility
Candidates who were not able to get any seat in the NEET PG Round 1 counselling can participate in Round 2. Candidates who seek an upgradation of the institute can also participate in the Round 2 counselling, and lastly, candidates who choose the ‘Free Exit’ option or did not participate in Round 1 counselling are also eligible for NEET PG 2025 Round 2 counselling.
