The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has officially started the NEET PG counselling 2025 Round 1 registration process on its official website at mcc.nic.in on October 17, 2025. Candidates who have qualified in the NEET PG 2025 examination conducted by National Board of Examination (NBE) can now register for postgraduate medical and dental courses under All India Quota (AIQ) seats and Deemed/Central universities.
MCC has yet to release the detailed NEET PG 2025 Counselling schedule. The registration is being conducted for admission to 50% All India Quota (AIQ) seats in Doctor of Medicine (MD), Master of Surgery (MS) and Diploma (DB) programs offered by government and private medical colleges. MCC has advised candidates to carefully verify eligibility requirements, reservation category and seat availability before submitting their preferences.

Step 1: Visit the official website at mcc.nic.in
Step 2: Click on the link named Medical PG counselling 2025
Step 3: Click on the New registration option for Round 1
Step 4: Enter the required credentials such as application number, NEET PG roll number and date of birth
Step 5: Fill out the form properly and accurately and create a password
Step 6: Submit the form and download the confirmation page for future reference

Rounds
NEET PG counselling 2025 includes four rounds — Round 1, Round 2, Round 3 and Stray Vacancy.
All India Quota (AIQ)
MCC manages 50% AIQ in government colleges. It also conducts 100% counselling for Deemed Universities, Central Universities, ESIC and AFMS institutions (as applicable).
State Quota
The remaining 50% seats fall under State Quota counselling conducted by respective state authorities.
