The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released the revised schedule for registration in Round 3 of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test – Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2025 counselling. Candidates who wish to appear for the same must visit the official website of MCC – mcc.nic.in. The registration for Round 3 began on January 15, 2025. However, as per the revised schedule, candidates can apply for NEET PG 2025 Round 3 counselling till January 26, 2026. Choice filling for NEET PG Round 3 counselling began on January 16, 2026, and the choices have to be locked by January 26, 2026. The result for the same would be announced on January 29, 2026.
The NEET PG exam 2025 was conducted on August 3, 2025 in a computer-based test (CBT) format. It was held in a single shift. Based on NEET PG results, a merit list is prepared by the NBE. Candidates who are listed on the merit list will be qualified to take part in NEET PG 2025 counselling. For 50% of the AIQ seats, MCC will conduct counselling. As mentioned above, the result for the NEET PG Round 3 counselling will be announced by January 29, 2026. The provisional result was only indicative in nature and subject to change. Candidates cannot claim any right over the allotted seat in the provisional result, and the provisional result cannot be challenged before the Court of Law.

The NEET PG 2025 cut-off has been reduced to make more candidates eligible for the counselling rounds. The cut-off has been revised for each category, and the candidates can refer to the table below for the same.
