The Medical Counselling Committee, also known as MCC, released the NEET PG counselling 2025 schedule on its website at mcc.nic.in for admission to postgraduate medical programmes under the 50% All India Quota (AIQ) and state quota seats. The NEET PG counselling schedule 2025 consists of detailed important dates for all four rounds, round 1, round 2, round 3 and stray vacancy round. Registration for NEET PG round 1 began on October 17, 2025. Eligible candidates must complete the choice filling and locking by November 5, 2025, with the seat allotment result announced on November 8, 2025 and college reporting between November 9 to November 15, 2025.
The Round 2 registration for NEET PG 2025 counselling will run from November 19 to November 24, 2025, followed by choice filling, seat allotment on November 26, and reporting between November 27 and December 4. Candidates must register on the MCC portal, fill choices & courses and pay the required counselling fees. Only those who qualified for NEET PG 2025 and meet the minimum percentile are eligible. After each round, candidates can choose from free exit, seat acceptance or upgradation.

Document Deadline for NRI Quota Applicants
For candidates who have applied under the NRI quota, there is a deadline set by the MCC to submit the supporting documents by October 28, 2025. Those candidates who missed the deadline are not eligible for the round 1 process. The entire counselling process, including all four rounds, is scheduled to be concluded by January 2026.
