NEET PG 2026 Last Day to Register Today: Check exam date, eligibility & more

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has announced the last day to register for the NEET PG 2026 as today, July 21, 2026. Applicants can fill out the application form from the official website of NEET PG, natboard.edu.in.

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has announced the last day to register for the NEET PG 2026 as today, July 21, 2026. Applicants who haven’t applied for the NEET PG 2026 till now can visit the official website, natboard.edu.in, and fill out the registration form by today itself. The application process for NEET PG started on July 1, 2026. Before filling out the application form, candidates must know the NEET PG 2026 eligibility criteria for the same. Only registered candidates will be eligible to appear for the exam and download their NEET PG admit card 2026 once released. 

The NEET PG 2026 application process consists of steps such as registration, filling in applicant’s details in the application form, uploading documents, and paying the registration fee. Candidates must pay a mandatory fee to complete the application process. The fee for candidates from the General/OBC category is Rs. 3,500, and for SC/ST/PWD candidates, the fee is Rs 2500. To apply for the NEET PG 2026 Exam, candidates must submit the basic details such as name, email ID, and mobile number. The NEET PG 2026 exam is scheduled to be held on August 30, 2026. 

NEET PG 2026 Last Day to Register: Correction Window

The last day to apply for the NEET PG 2026 exam is today, July 21, 2026. Applicants who wish to make changes in their application form can do so within the correction window time frame, July 31 to August 10, 2026. Candidates can refer to the following steps regarding the correction window: 

Step 1: Visit the official website of NBEMS, natboard.edu.in. 

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the ‘NEET PG’ exam tab

Step 3: Click on “Applicant Login” and provide details like user ID and password

Step 4: The application form with all details will be displayed on the screen 

Step 5: At the top of the screen, there will be a tab stating “Go to application form”, click on it

Step 6: The registration form will be displayed

Step 7: Candidates can modify the  required details and verify all the sections

Step 8: Click on the “Save & Next” option after each section

Step 9: Enter the captcha code and again click on the “save and submit” option

Step 10: An edited version of the NEET PG application form will show up on the screen

Application forms, once submitted, cannot be withdrawn. The NEET PG 2026 application fee will not be refunded under any circumstances. 

NEET PG 2026: Eligibility Criteria 

The application process for NEET PG 2026 started on July 1, 2026, and the last day to apply for the exam is today, July 21, 2026. Candidates should check the eligibility criteria before applying for the exam. While there is no age limit to apply for the NEET PG exam, candidates must have an MBBS degree or Provisional MBBS Pass Certificate identified in accordance with the provisions of the NMC Act, 2019, and the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956, which has since been repealed. 

Candidates must also have a permanent or provisional registration certificate of their MBBS qualification issued by the NMC, the former Medical Council of India, or the State Medical Council, and must have completed or be expected to complete their internship on or before March 31, 2026. There are no obligations on the number of attempts; candidates can attempt as many times as they’d want. 

Only Candidates who will complete their required rotatory internship of 1 year on or before July 31, 2026, will be eligible to apply for NEET PG 2026. As per the official notification by the NBE, “registration with the NMC/ the erstwhile Medical Council of India or State Medical Council is necessary, and its documentary proof should be furnished by the candidates on the day of examination and at the time of counselling/admission.”

Eligibility criteria for foreign candidates will be different than candidates with Indian citizenship. Candidates must check the official notification for NEET PG 2026 thoroughly before applying.
