NTA is set to release the NEET UG 2025 Admit Card on its official website. Now that the admit card can be released anytime soon, candidates aspiring to sit for the NEET UG Exam can download it directly from the official website at neet.nta.nic.in by entering their application number and Date of Birth. Along with the basic details like name, roll number, and exam center, examination timing, the NEET Admit Card also contains thorough information on NEET dress code, barred items, and specific exam day guidelines and instructions that every candidate must follow. The NEET UG 2025 Hall Ticket is not just a mandatory document to be carried in the exam hall, but also a detailed PDF that talks about the dos and don’ts for the candidates.

It is important for aspirants to thoroughly read all instructions printed on the admit card to avoid any eleventh-hour confusion or disqualification on the day of the NEET UG 2025 exam.

NEET Dress Code for Female and Male Candidates

The NEET UG 2025 Admit card provides instructions regarding what a candidate should wear on the exam day. Some of the guidelines are mentioned below-

  • Heavy clothes and/or long sleeves are not permitted. Candidates coming in cultural/ customary dress at the Examination Centre should report an hour before the last reporting time, i.e., 12.30 pm, so that there’s enough time for inspection
  • Slippers, sandals with low heels are permitted. Shoes are not permitted. 
  • If there are unavoidable circumstances, like a medical issue, then special permission from NTA must be taken before the admit cards are issued

NEET UG Exam 2025 – Documents To Carry In The Exam Hall

Candidates must carry the following documents to the examination hall – 

  • A printed copy of the Admit Card with a passport-size photograph (same as uploaded on the Application form, pasted on it). 
  • One passport-size photograph (same as uploaded on the Online Application Form) for pasting on the Attendance Sheet 
  • One Post Card Size (4”X 6”) color photograph with white background should be pasted on the Proforma downloaded with the Admit Card.
  •  Any one of the authorized photo IDs (must be original and valid like PAN card/Driving License/Voter ID/Passport/Aadhaar Card /Ration Card/ Class 12 Admit Card with Photograph /any other valid photo ID issued by the Government.
  •  Certificate of physical limitation/or PwBD certificate issued by the Competent Authority, if claiming the relaxation under the PwBD category. 

NEET UG Exam 2025 – Exam Day Guidelines and Instructions

  • Candidates must reach the examination hall before 1:30 pm. No candidate will be allowed entry past that time 
  • No candidate can leave his/her seat or the Examination Room/Hall until the Test concludes as per the schedule without handing over their OMR Sheets to the invigilator on duty
  • Candidates must be seated in their allotted seats. If a candidate is found appearing in the Examination from a different seat or room other than the allotted one, the candidature will be cancelled. 
  • A candidate who does not possess a valid Admit Card will not be allowed to enter the Examination Hall
  • Candidates should not resort to any Unfair means during the examination
  • The candidate must sign twice on the Attendance Sheet at the specified place, the first time immediately after the commencement of the examination and the second time while handing over the Answer Sheet to the Invigilator
  • The candidate must ensure that the Test Booklet contains as many pages as are written on the top of the cover page.

NEET UG Exam 2025 – Barred Items (Things Candidates Cannot Carry) 

  • Any item like textual material (printed or written), bits of papers, Geometry/Pencil Box, Plastic Pouch, Calculator, Pen, Scale, Writing Pad, Pen Drives, Eraser, Calculator, Log Table, Electronic Pen/Scanner, etc.
  • Any communication device like Mobile Phone, Bluetooth, Earphones, Microphone, Pager, Health Band, etc.
  • Other items like Wallet, Goggles, Handbags, Belt, Cap, etc. d) Any Watch/Wristwatch, Bracelet, Camera, etc. 
  • Any ornaments/metallic items. 
  • Any food items opened or packed, water bottle, etc. 
  • Any other item which could be used for unfair means, by hiding communication devices like a microchip, camera, Bluetooth device, etc
