The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the NEET UG 2025 Provisional Answer Key on its official website neet.nta.nic.in. Candidates who appeared for the exam can now estimate their probable scores by matching their responses with the answer key.
The provisional Answer key will be followed by the NEET Final Answer Key 2025, which cannot be challenged. The NEET UG exam was conducted on May 4, 2025, and the Final Answer Key can be expected around June 2025. This NEET UG 2025 provisional answer key provides an opportunity for candidates to challenge any discrepancies. If a candidate finds any answer questionable and is unsatisfied after comparing it with their response sheet, they can object by paying a non-refundable fee of INR 200 per question challenged. The objection window will be open till June 5, 2025.
These objections will be reviewed by a panel of subject experts. Based on their evaluation, the NTA will release the Final NEET UG 2025 Answer Key, which will be final and cannot be contested further. To ensure their challenge is considered and avoid confusion, candidates must submit the correct question number along with their application number and relevant details.

NEET Answer Key 2025 Released – Steps to raise objections
Candidates can follow these steps to raise objections for NEET UG 2025
- Candidates can go to the official website – neet.nta.nic.in
- They can click on the link ‘ Apply for Answer Key Challenge’ and select the Test Booklet Code
- They are supposed to enter their Application Number and Date of Birth, and the Security Code displayed.
- Then they must click on the Submit Button and submit the form for challenging the key will be displayed.
- The questions with the correct option will be listed, they must choose accordingly with a support or proof for the answer claim by uploading any supporting document.
- They can save and make the payment of INR 200 for each question challenged.
- Print the Answer Key challenge receipt.
