MHT CET Registration 2026: Application form deadline extended to Feb 24, check exam schedule

The last date for the online MHT CET Registration 2026 has been extended by the State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell, Maharashtra on February 20, 2026. Under the final extension notice, the last date to register for the upcoming exam is set as February 24, 2026 without late fee charge. Students, for all categories, applying from February 25, 2026 will be required to pay an additional late fee of Rs.500. The last date to apply with a late fee is February 27, 2026. As the MHT CET 2026 registration last date has now been extended, students still have an opportunity to apply by visiting the MHT CET official website – cetcell.mahacet.org.  

The MHT CET Exam 2026 will be conducted on a state-level competitive exam by the CET Cell of Maharashtra to grant admission to applying students in undergraduate engineering, pharmacy and agriculture courses, offered by the top government and private institutes of the state. The MHT CET exam date 2026 for the first attempt has been tentatively scheduled from April 11, 2026 to April 26, 2026, while the second attempt will commence by May 10, 2026 and end on May 17, 2026. 5. Generate a strong password and click on ‘submit’.
6. Now login to the registration portal using your credentials. Already registered candidates can use their respective login credentials.
7. Proceed further to enter all your important details like Class 10th and 12th certificates, chosen subject group, language medium etc.
8. Then upload all the required documents in the suggested format.
9. Go to the fee payment option and pay the MHT CET 2026 registration fees online through the prescribed transaction method as per your category.
10. Check all the fields again before submitting the MHT CET form and then tap on ‘submit’ for successful submission.
