MHT CET Counselling Date 2025 has been released by the Maharashtra CET Cell today in online mode. Only those candidates who have successfully qualified the MHT CET exam 2025 are now eligible to participate in the MHT CET counselling process 2025. As per the official schedule, the counselling registration began on June 28, 2025. The exam authority will start the MHT CET counselling registration process from July 8, 2025. The application form will be available online on its official website – cetcell.mahacet.org.
To participate in the counselling process, candidates have to complete the following process such as – registration, uploading the documents and paying the counselling fees. The MHT CET counselling process involves three rounds and after each round of counselling, the exam authority will release the seat allotment result. Candidates who will be allotted seats after counselling will have to confirm their admission by paying the seat confirmation fees and reporting to the allotted institute.

MHT CET Counselling Process 2025
Check the points below to know the complete MHT CET counselling process;
- Registration
Candidates who want to participate in the MHT CET counselling process must complete their registration within the time period. The exam authority will also release the registration direct link in its website – cetcell.mahacet.org.
- Uploading the Scanned Documents
After successfully completing the registration process, candidates also have to upload their required documents such as – Photograph and Signature in correct format.
- Payments of Fees
After registration and uploading the documents, candidates will have to pay the counseling fees as per their category. Check the category-wise fees here;

- Release of Merit List
The MHT CET Merit List (Provisional) is prepared based on the marks obtained by candidates in the MHT CET exam. If candidates find any discrepancy in the merit list, they are also able to raise objections against it. After reviewing the objections, the authority will release the MHT CET final merit list.
- Choice Filling
Candidates will have to fill in their preferred colleges/institutes where they want to get admission. The candidates will get seats based on their merit they scored in the exam and in the order of their college preference.
- Seat Allotment
The allotment of seats will be based on the choices filled and the merit of candidates. After accepting the seat, candidates will have to report to the allotted college and complete the process by paying the admission fee.
