MAT December 2025 Exam Dates Out; Registration Window is Now Open for CBT and PBT Mode

The All India Management Association (AIMA) has opened the registration window for the Management Aptitude Test (MAT) December session exam. MAT is a national-level exam conducted in two test modes, Computer-Based Test (CBT) and Paper-Based Test (PBT), offering candidates an opportunity to register for both modes (PBT+CBT) and use their highest score for MBA/PGDM admissions. Interested candidates can apply for the exam on the official website, mat.aima.in, for both modes.

The PBT mode is scheduled for December 13, 2025, and the CBT exam is will be held on December 21, 2025. Once the MAT 2025 registration process is completed, AIMA releases the MAT admit card on the official website. Candidates can download the hall ticket by using their registration number and password. MAT December 2025 Important Dates

The association has released the important dates for the MAT December 2025 exams, with the registration starting from November 3, 2025.

For Paper-based test (PBT):

  • Last date for online registration: 7 December 2025 
  • Admit card release: 10 December 2025 
  • Exam date: 13 December 2025

For Computer-based test (CBT):

  • Last date for online registration: 15 December 2025 
  • Admit card release: 18 December 2025 
  • Exam date: 21 December 2025 

MAT 2025 Exam Fee and Eligibility

AIMA has prescribed the eligibility criteria for applicants interested in appearing for the MAT exam. Check below the MAT eligibility requirements to take the exam:

  • Candidates must be graduates in any discipline. 
  • Final-year undergraduate students can also apply. 
  • There is no limit to the number of attempts for the MAT exam.

The MAT exam is conducted in two modes: Computer-Based Test (CBT) and Paper-Based Test (PBT), offering candidates an opportunity to register for both modes (PBT+CBT) and use their highest score for MBA/PGDM admissions.

Candidates can either opt for one of the modes or apply for a dual test mode. Check the fee details below accordingly.

  • Single test mode (CBT/ PBT): ₹2,200/- 
  • Dual test mode (PBT+CBT): ₹3,800/-
