Maharashtra FYJC Registration 2025 for CAP Round 2 Starts Today; Apply at mahafyjcadmissions.in

The Maharashtra School Education and Sports Department has officially announced the CAP Round 2 registration for  Maharashtra FYJC admissions 2025 from today, 10 July, 2025. Candidates who either wish to update their preferences or missed the first round can apply until 13 July, 2025 at 6:30 p.m. on the official website mahafyjcadmissions.in.

CAP (Centralised Admission Process) Round 2 is crucial for the candidates who did not secure a seat in the first round or who were marked ineligible due to errors in their application. The CAP round 2 allotment result will be out on July 17, and admissions will be held between July 18 and 21.

In CAP Round 1, over 6.3 lakh students registered for FYJC admissions across Maharashtra from which approximately 5.08 lakh students secured seats and more than 77,000 candidates were marked ineligible due to incomplete or incorrect forms. CAP Round 2 gives these candidates a second chance to secure their seat.

As per the updated timetable, the application and choice-filling window will remain open until July 13, 2025 (6:30 PM). Students can fill or edit both Part 1 (personal details) and Part 2 (college preferences) of the form. Candidates can check the major dates for CAP round 2 in the table given below: 

CAP Round 2: Steps to Apply

1. Candidates who wish to register for CAP round 2 must visit mahafyjcadmissions.in.
   
2. Then candidates are required to select their region (Mumbai, Pune, Nashik, Nagpur, Amravati, Aurangabad).
   
3. Candidates can login using their credentials.
   
4. Candidates can edit or fill Part 1 and Part 2 of the application.
   
5. Candidates must select up to 10 preferred colleges or streams.
   
6. Candidates verify the details and submit the form.
   
7. Candidates must save and print the confirmation page.
