KEA releases KCET 2026 Exam Schedule: Registration begin on January 17

The exam schedule for KCET 2026 has been announced on the official website – cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. As per the official notice, the registration starts on January 17, 2026.

The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has released the KCET 2026 exam schedule, along with the registration dates that begin from January 17, 2026. The application link is available on the official website, cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. The KCET 2026 registration is expected to end by the 4th week of February 2026. As per the KCET 2026 exam schedule, the exam is scheduled for April 23 and 24, 2026, in offline mode. However, the Kannada language test is scheduled for April 22, 2026.

The KCET 2026 Exam is an annual entrance exam, conducted by the KEA, for admissions to B.E./B.Tech courses across participating colleges in the state of Karnataka. Candidates who wish to appear for the exam are required to satisfy the eligibility criteria for the exam. Through the KCET exam, eligible candidates are given admission into various engineering, agriculture, and pharmacy courses/colleges in the state of Karnataka. Subjects like maths, physics, chemistry and biology have to be prepared for the exam. However, Kannadiga candidates have to prepare for the Kannada language test as well.

The KCET 2026 will be held in two sessions within a span of 2 days, April 23 and 24, 2026. Please note that for Horanadu and Gadinadu Kannadiga candidates, the Kannada language test will be conducted on April 22, 2026. The KCET exam schedule 2026 mentioned below can be referred to for the same.

Please take a thorough note that the Kannada Language Test for Horanadu and Gadinadu Kannadiga candidates at Bengaluru, Belagavi, Bijapura and Mangalore Districts only will be conducted on April 22, 2026, from 10:30 am to 11:30 am with a total of 50 marks.

KCET Registration 2026: Steps to Apply Online

The candidates who satisfy the eligibility criteria can follow the steps mentioned below to register for the KCET 2026 application form. 

Step 1. Visit the official website – cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.

Step 2. Click on the “UGCET – 2026 Online Application Link”.

Step 3. You will then receive an application number and a user ID at your registered mobile number.

Step 4. Log in to the KEA website.

Step 5. Enter the required details in the online KCET application form.

Step 6. Preview your application form.

Step 7. Pay the requisite fee via an appropriate payment gateway.

Step 8. Submit your KCET application form.

Candidates are advised to take out a printout of the application form for future reference. They must visit the website for further updates.
