JoSAA Round 3 Seat Allotment Result 2025 Released; Download Cutoff PDF here

The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has announced the Round 3 seat allotment result 2025 today, July 2, 2025 at 10 a.m., bringing students to secure admission seats in India’s top engineering colleges. JoSAA round 3 seat allotment includes updated cut-offs, showing the opening and closing ranks for various institutes like IITs, NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs. Candidates who participated in the process can now check their allotment status by logging in to the official website josaa.nic.in by entering their login credentials. 

Candidates who have received a seat in round 3 must secure their seat as the deadline for seat acceptance, fee payment, and document upload is July 4, 5 PM. Candidates must choose between Freeze, Float, or Slide options depending on their preferences and future plans.

JoASAA Round 3 seat allotment has been released candidates can check the result from the official website of JoSAA. Candidates have to select the option asked to check results like- Institute type, Institute Name, Academic Program and Seat Type / Category. Officially the cut-off has not been released yet. 

JoSAA Round 3 Seat Allotment 2025: Options and Fee Payment 

Candidates allotted a seat in JoSAA Round 3 seat allotment 2025 must confirm their admission by choosing one of the three options:

1. Freeze: If candidates are accepting the current seat and stop further participation, they have to select the freeze option.
2. Float: If candidates are accepting the seat but want to stay eligible for upcoming rounds for better institutes can select the float option. 
3. Slide: If candidates are accepting the seat but want to remain open to a better program within the same institute can select the slide option. 

After choosing the option, candidates must pay the seat acceptance fee online through net banking, UPI, or debit/credit cards on the JoSAA portal and upload the required documents by the deadline which is 4 July, 2025. JoSAA has clearly mentioned that no extension will be given beyond the July 4 deadline. All activities related to Round 3 seat acceptance  including fee payment, document upload, and choice confirmation  must be completed before 5 PM IST on July 4, 2025. Here is a quick look at the key deadlines:

Those who choose to withdraw or exit the process must do so within the July 2–4 window. After this, withdrawal is not allowed, and students will not be eligible for further counselling rounds.
