JoSAA Counselling Round 2 Results: The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) will release the Round 2 Seat Allotment Results. The results will be out at 5:00 PM Today on the official website of JoSAA – josaa.nic.in. Candidates can login to the official website using their candidate credentials to check their allotment status. Candidates have time till June 25, 2025, to make the payment for seat acceptance. All the queries raised by colleges must be addressed before June 27, 2025, at 5:00 PM. Once the deadline is crossed, the admission will be cancelled if the candidate doesn’t complete the seat acceptance process.
JoSAA Round 2 Seat Allotment – Seat Matrix
The Authority has released the seat matrix for 2025 admissions. The PDF is available on the official website of JoSAA – josaa.nic.in. This year, there are a total of 62853 seats available, including all IITs, NITs, III-Ts, and GFTIs. The total number of seats available in IITs is 18,160, and in NITs is 24525. JoSAA Round 2 Seat Allotment – Seat Locking Options
After allotment of a seat, candidates will have to make the seat locking decision before June 25, 2025. Candidates will have to decide on the given locking options. The Candidates are given to choose between the following:
- Floating: opting for Float means that candidate accepted the seat and is up for seat upgradation across all the participating institutes.
- Freeze: When candidate chooses Freeze, it means candidate is satisfied with the allotted seat and is willing to accept the seat.
- Sliding: Sliding implies that candidate has accepted the seat and is up for course upgradation in the allotted institute.
- Withdraw: Opting for Withdraw means candidate does not want to be a part of the counselling process any further.
