JoSAA Mock Seat Allotment 2025 Round 1 Out Today; Know how to lock choices filled

The JoSAA has announced the round 1 seat allocation online. Only those candidates who successfully registered and completed the choice filling process for JoSAA are able to check their seat allotment through the JoSAA login portal.

JoSAA Round 1 Seat Allotment Result will officially be released by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) today at 2 PM. Candidates who registered and completed their choice filling process within the time period set by the authority are now able to check the JoSAA round 1 seat allotment result. To check the JoSAA seat allotment 2025, candidates have to log in to the candidate portal. 

As per the official notification, the JoSAA round 2 mock seat allotment will be displayed on June 11, 2025. Candidates must check the seat allotment result to know the institute allotted to them for admission based on their scores. The JoSAA counselling is conducted in five rounds and after completing each round of counselling the JoSAA releases the seat allotment list for candidates.

JoSAA Round 1 Mock Seat Allotment 2025: How to Lock Choice 

Check the below given points to know how to lock choice filled; 

 Exam Alert Plus
  • Freeze – 

If candidates are satisfied with the college allotted to them then they can select the option “Freeze” to lock the seat. 

  • Float – 

If a candidate is satisfied with the college or institute allotted to them but also wants to participate in the next round of counselling then they can select the option “Float”. 

  • Slide – 

If a candidate is satisfied with the college but wants to change the course in the same college then they can select the “Slide” option. 

  • Withdraw – 

If a candidate accepted the college but not satisfied with the seat allotted then they can “withdraw” the seat by visiting the college.
