The JoSAA 2025 schedule has been released by the authority. Candidates can download the schedule from the official website of JoSAA – josaa.nic.in. The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) will start the registration from June 3, 2025. The JoSAA application form 2025 will be available online at the official website. To register for the JoSAA counselling, every candidate has to qualify the JEE Advanced exam.
Through the JoSAA counselling 2025, candidates can get the preferred programmes offered by IITs. The counselling is conducted in 5 rounds and after each round JoSAA declares the seat allotment list for the candidates. The JoSAA counselling involves registration, choice filling of institutes, seat allotments and verification of documents.

What is JoSAA Counselling ?
The Ministry of Education, Government of India has established JoSAA. JoSAA is an authority who conducts the counselling for those candidates who qualified the JEE main and JEE main advance exam. The JoSAA counselling is conducted in five rounds. Through the JoSAA counseling, candidates can get admission to top and desirable colleges/institutes such as – IITs, NITs, IIITs and other institutes.
JoSAA Counselling Cut Off 2025
Joint Session Allocation Authority (JoSAA) will release the JoSAA cut off 2025 in the form of opening ranks and closing ranks. These ranks are the highest and lowest ranks through which admission is offered in several institutes such as – NITs, IITs, IIITs and other institutes. Candidates who scored highest ranks as per the cut off list, will have a better chance to get admission in top institutes.
There are some factors which affect the JoSAA cut off :
- High level of Competition
- Performance of the candidate in the exam
- Difficulty level of examination
- Total number of seats/vacancies
Once the cut off list is released by the authority then candidates can download the list of JoSAA cutoff from the official website josaa.nic.in.
