JEECUP Round 2 Seat Allotment: The JEE Council Uttar Pradesh (JEECUP) will release the result of round 2 JEECUP Counselling today, July 12, 2025. Candidates can access the seat allotment status directly from the official website of JEECUP – jeecup.admissions.nic.in. To lock the seat, candidates will have to pay a sum of INR 3000. JEECUP 2025 Round 2 Seat Allotment – Seat Locking Options

Once a seat is allotted in Round 2 of Counselling 2025 of JEECUP, students need to lock in seats by June 25, 2025. Students can opt for any of the given four options:

  • Float: Choosing the Float option is when the candidate agrees to the seat already allocated, but is also willing for upgradation to a better institute in the next rounds of counselling.
  • Freeze: Selecting the Freeze option means that the candidate is content with the seat already allocated to them and does not want to go through any further upgradation.
  • Withdraw: Choosing the Withdraw option indicates that the candidate does not wish to continue with the JEECUP 2025 counselling process anymore.
