The National Testing Agency (NTA) will soon publish the JEE Mains session 1 answer key 2026, as the first session of JEE Mains 2026 has been concluded on January 29, 2026. The NTA carried out the JEE Mains 2026 session 1 between January 21 and January 29, 2026, in two shifts of Morning (9 AM to 12 PM) and Evening (3 to 6 PM) across various cities of India and 15 cities outside the country. The exam is a national-level entrance examination conducted to grant aspiring engineers admission into B.Tech and other related courses are offered by top Indian institutions. Post the release of the JEE Mains session 1 answer key 2026, NTA will also open an objection window for candidates to challenge the provisional answer key.

JEE Mains 2026 Session 1 Exam: How to Challenge Provisional Answer Key?

An objection window is generally opened after the release of JEE Mains session 1 answer key 2026, providing candidates an opportunity to challenge the answers and raise their objections before the closing of the window.

1. Go to the official website – jeemain.nta.nic.in
2. Click on the active link titled as ‘JEE Mains Session 1 answer key 2026 PDF download’ present on the homepage. 
3. On the login page, use your JEE Mains 2026 exam login credentials.
4. Click on the ‘Submit’ button.
5. Now look for the active link of JEE Main Answer Key Objection link on the interface that opened and click on it.
6. Enter the Question ID, Exam Date, and Shift Number to raise your objection.
7. Provide relevant proofs to support your objection and pay a fee of INR 200 for each challenged question.
