The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2026 Session 1 exam schedule has been released by the National Testing Agency (NTA) today, January 8, 2026. Candidates who will be appearing for the JEE Main 2026 can now check the Session 1 examination dates from the official website – jeemain.nta.nic.in. Paper 1 (B.E./B. Tech) of JEE Main Session 1 exam will be conducted on January 21, 22, 23, 24 and 28, 2026 in two shifts: shift 1 exam will be held from 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon and second shift will be conducted from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
The Paper 2A (B. Arch), Paper 2В (B. Planning) and Paper 2A & 2B (B. Arch & B. Planning both) of JEE Main 2026 Session 1 is going to take place on January 29, 2026 in a single shift from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM. The NTA has also released the JEE Main 2026 city intimation slip for Session 1 exam today on its official website. The JEE Main 2026 Session 1 admit card will be issued later by the exam conducting body on the official website.

JEE Mains Exam Schedule 2026: Check Exam Dates

JEE Main 2026 Admit Card
The JEE Main 2026 admit card for Session 1 will be released 3 to 4 days before the exam date. Although no official date has been announced by the NTA for the release of the JEE Main admit card 2026. The admit card of JEE Main 2026 is an important document that the candidates will have to carry on the day of the exam, without the admit card the entry in the examination centre is prohibited.
