JEE Main January 2026 Registration Closing Today; Check new rules before applying at jeemain.nta.nic.in

JEE Main 2026 session 1 application window is closing today, November 27, 2025. Candidates are advised to visit the official website and register for the session1 exam before the deadline.

The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2026 session 1 registration process is closing today, November 27, 2025, by 9 PM. For Candidates who are still left to fill out the JEE Main 2026 application form, this is their last chance, as no further extension will be provided by the National Testing Agency (NTA) once the application closes. To ensure the successful JEE Main 2026 registration, the details of the Aadhar card of the candidate must be updated. The correct name, date of birth, latest photograph, address and father’s name should match the class 10th certificate. 

The UDID card and Category certificate of the candidates must be updated and valid for the JEE Main 2026 Registration. If the candidates submit their Aadhar number in their application form, details such as the candidate’s name, gender, date of birth, photograph and address will be auto-filled in the application form. Once the JEE Main 2026 session 1 registration process is over, NTA will open the correction window for the JEE Main 2026 exam from December 1 to 2, 2025.

JEE Main Registration 2026: How to Apply Online?

Candidates can follow the steps given below to register for the JEE Main 2026 Exam:

Step 1: Visit the official website – jeemain.nta.nic.in

Step 2: Click on the “JEE Main 2026 Registration” link 

Step 3: Create a login ID and now access the JEE Main 2026 session 1 application form using that ID

Step 4: Fill in all the personal and academic details and upload the documents

Step 5: Pay the application fee via Credit card/Debit card, Net Banking or UPI

Step 6: Submit the application form and download the confirmation page for future reference 

JEE Main Application Form 2026: New Rules Announced by NTA 

While applying for the JEE Main 2026, candidates must make sure that their Aadhar card, UDID Card and Category certificate are updated and valid. The details in the candidate’s Aadhar card, such as the candidate’s name, gender, date of birth, address and father’s name, should match their class 10th certificate. Live photographs of the aspirants will also be recorded while filling out the application form. 

The JEE Main Session 1 exam 2026 is scheduled to be conducted from January 21 to 30, 2026, and the results for the same will be declared on February 12, 2026.
