The National Testing Agency (NTA) has started the JEE Main application correction 2026 facility today, December 1, 2025. Candidates can now rectify their errors or update their details in the application form till December 2, 2025 (11:50 PM) by visiting the official website – jeemain.nta.nic.in. The decision to open a correction window was taken by the NTA because of the numerous requests they received from the candidates asking to give them the opportunity to rectify or update their particulars in the application form.
Candidates must carefully verify and edit their details in the JEE Main 2026 Application Form. Since it is a one-time facility extended to the candidates, the candidates are advised to do the correction very carefully, as no further opportunity for correction will be given to the candidates. Any additional fee (if applicable) must be paid by the candidates through a Credit card/Debit card, Net banking, or UPI.
JEE Main Application Form Correction 2026: Steps to Modify
Mentioned below are the steps that the candidates need to follow to correct their particulars in the application form:
Step 1: Visit the official website – jeemain.nta.nic.in
Step 2: Log in using the registration number and password
Step 3: On the home page, click on the “JEE Main 2026 Application Correction” link
Step 4: Candidates need to carefully check and make the necessary changes to their application form
Step 5: Once the rectification of the particulars is done, candidates can click on the ‘Submit’ button
Step 6: Now, pay the correction fee wherever required
Step 7: Download and take a printout of the confirmation page and save it for future reference
