JEE Main Admit Card 2026 Session 1 Released: Exams starting from Jan 21, check steps to download

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the JEE Main Admit Card 2026 on January 17, 2026 for Session 1 Exams scheduled on January 21, 22, 23 & 24, 2026. All the students who are appearing on exam dates mentioned above can now download their admit cards from the official website of JEE Main – jeemain.nta.nic.in. The admit card contains crucial information regarding the exam and exam day guidelines that the candidates need to adhere by. The admit cards of candidates who have their exam on January 28 and 29, 2026 will be released in due course.

The JEE Main Exam 2026 for session 1 will be conducted from January 21, 2026 to January 29, 2026 in two different shifts – Morning and Afternoon across the whole country. For which, the NTA JEE Main Admit Card 2026 is one of the most crucial documents to appear for the JEE Main exam. Candidates for JEE Main 2026 Session 1 should note that they will not be allowed to sit for the exam if they do not carry their JEE Main Admit Card 2026 Session 1. JEE Mains exam centers do not accept the digital copies of the admit card, so the candidates should carry the clear and correct hard copy of their JEE Main Admit Card 2026 for Session 1. Aspiring students can follow the steps given below to easily download their JEE Main Admit Card 2026 Session 1 online. 

1. Go to the official portal for the JEE Main 2026 Exam –  jeemain.nta.nic.in.
2. After the site opens, click on the active link available for JEE Main admit card 2026 on the homepage.
3. Once the page opens, Kindly enter your Application Number in the tab.
4. Then, enter your Date of Birth (DOB) or your Password to access your admit card. 
5. After filling your credentials, enter the Security Pin or CAPTCHA Code shown on the screen.
6. Tap on the ‘Submit’ or ‘Sign-In’ option.
7. After your profile opens, the option to download your JEE Main admit card 2026 will appear on the screen.
8. Click on the option to download your admit card online in PDF format.

Students are advised to take at least 2 clear photocopies of their admit card. If in case you find any discrepancy in the details printed on your admit card, it is instructed that you reach out to the responsible authorities to get it rectified.

JEE Main Session 1 Admit Card 2026: Exam Day Instructions

Candidates are requested to keep in mind the following points to attempt their exam peacefully without any trouble.

1. Be punctual and reach your exam centre allotted to you on your admit card at time.
2. Check your venue and get seated. Once the gates are closed, entry would not be allowed.
3. All the electronic and AI devices are strictly prohibited inside the exam hall.
4. Carry all important documents like your JEE Main Admit Card 2026 Session 1, Photo ID Cards etc. 
5. Follow the instructions provided to your invigilator.
6. Do not attempt any prohibited act to avoid getting barred from the examination.
