The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the notification and opened the registration for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2026. With the demo registration link already activated in early October 2025, aspirants are urged to act swiftly as the registration window is now open via jeemain.nta.ac.in. The application window for the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 exam will remain active till November 27, 2025.
The JEE Main examination will be conducted in two sessions– January 2026 and April 2026. The authority has also issued an advisory dated September 29, 2025, urging candidates to update and verify their Aadhar UDID and category certificate in advance to avoid any discrepancies during registration. This year’s JEE Main 2026 fee structure has been published, with category-wise variation for gender and paper choice.

Steps to Apply For JEE Mains 2026
The step-by-step process to fill the JEE Main 2026 application form is given below:
Step 1: Open the JEE Main 2026 official website
Step 2: Click on the “New Candidate Registration” link
Step 3: Candidates have to enter the required details like name, parents’ name, email ID, mobile number, address, etc.
Step 4: Once the candidate completes JEE Main Registration, they’ll need to fill the application form by filling details about category, class 10 and 12 education, parents’ name and address, paper for which they are appearing (BTech or BArch/BPlan), and exam city preference.
Step 5: Students need to upload scanned image of photo, signature, class 10 certificate and PwD/PwBD certificate (If applicable)
Step 6: Pay the fees online using credit card/ debit card/ UPI or internet banking
Step 7: JEE Main application form will be submitted once the candidate pays application fees.
