The National Testing Agency (NTA) concludes the Joint Entrance Examination – Main (JEE Main) 2026 Session 2 on April 8, 2026. Here, we have brought the JEE Main 2026 Expected Cut-off as stated by various coaching institutions. Once the JEE Main 2026 Result is out, the conducting body will release the minimum qualifying cut-off for JEE Advanced on the official website,  jeemain.nta.nic.in. It must be noted that only the candidates who clear the JEE Main 2026 Exam will qualify for JEE Advanced 2026. In addition to this, the JEE Main Cutoff 2026 is the same for both sessions, as NTA releases the minimum qualifying marks only after the Session 2 result is announced.

The JEE Main 2026 Exam was conducted in two sessions – January Session and April Session. It must be noted that the JEE Main 2026 Cut-off is of two types: qualifying and admission. The minimum JEE Main exam percentile required by students to qualify for JEE Advanced is referred to as the JEE Main Qualifying Cut-off. JEE Main Admission Cut off, on the other hand, is the opening and closing rank for aspiring candidates seeking admission to NITs, IIITs, or GFTIs for the B.E/B.Tech program. JEE Main 2026 Expected Cut-off: Category-wise qualifying marks

As mentioned above, NTA will release the JEE Main 2026 Cut-off after the JEE Main Session 2 Result 2026. Experts anticipate that cut-off trends will remain consistent with recent years. The General category threshold is projected to fall between the 93.5 and 95 percentile mark, with other categories expected to follow a similar pattern at lower ranges.
